How is it calculated?
The math is simple: multiply your hourly wage by your monthly hours. A full-time position in Israel is 182 hours per month, based on a 42-hour work week. At ₪50 per hour full-time, that comes to ₪9,100 gross per month, or about ₪109,000 gross per year.
Net pay is then calculated from gross using the 2026 rules: income tax, Bituach Leumi (National Insurance) and health tax, with 2.25 credit points (nekudot zikuy) for an Israeli resident. On ₪9,100 gross, the estimated net is about ₪8,150. For reference, the minimum wage since 1 April 2026 is ₪35.40 per hour — about ₪6,400 per month full-time, per the Ministry of Labor and Kol Zchut.
