Pashut Neto is an independent Israeli site built and maintained by Oriel Dayanim. It holds 53 financial calculators across five areas — salary and work, housing and mortgages, savings and investments, health and fitness, and everyday tools — in Hebrew, Arabic, English, French and Russian. Free to use, no sign-up.
I built it after trying to work out how much net pay was left from my gross and finding calculators that returned different numbers from one another, without saying which tax brackets they used or from which year. Pashut Neto is built on the opposite rule: every number in a result can be traced back to the official source it came from, and that source is linked at the bottom of the page.
Where the numbers come from
All tax and benefit figures live in a single place in the site's code and are verified against their official source before publication: the Israel Tax Authority (2026 income-tax brackets, including Amendment 288 of March 2026), the National Insurance Institute (contribution rates, allowances and the wage report), the Central Bureau of Statistics, the Bank of Israel and Kol Zchut. A full refresh runs every January when the tax year opens, with interim updates on every legislative change. The full method is on the How we calculate page.
Calculations run in your browser only. The site does not collect, store or transmit what you enter — there is no server that receives it. The site meets Israeli accessibility standard IS 5568 at level AA.
How the site is funded
The site is funded by Google AdSense ads and one labelled affiliate link on the mortgage page. Advertisers have no influence on the calculations, the figures or the wording: no sponsored content, no product rankings, no recommendation of any financial institution.
What the site is not
Pashut Neto presents general information and does not provide tax, pension or investment advice. The calculators show an estimate based on what was entered; a personal case often includes facts the calculator does not know about. Before making decisions it is worth consulting a licensed professional.
